Working at LPH
We believe that our employees are a critical part of achieving our goals. Therefore we emphasise their careful selection as well as any relevant ongoing professional training that results in the retention of employees who share our unwavering commitment to excellence. The qualities which we seek out in candidates are confidence and integrity as we believe that these characteristics help us build long term relationships with our clients.
At LPH we pride ourselves in providing employees with a high level of technical and practical training across a diverse range of clients. We encourage all our employees to strive towards and meet the standards of professionalism expected from a CA(SA).
In order to achieve this, we expect applicants to have certain levels of competency before seeking employment with us. As a minimum, we suggest that you have attained the following:
- A relevant undergraduate degree as recognised by SAICA, or
- At least two completed years towards completing a relevant undergraduate degree as recognised by SAICA, with a strong prospect of completing the degree within 12 months
Any relevant qualifications above these levels (e.g. CTA) will ensure that your application is favourably considered.
However, even candidates without the above qualifications are welcome to apply, as you might just have the passion, determination and character which we believe an LPH employee should have.
Please note that applicants who have qualified, or who are in the process of qualifying, at a SAICA accredited institution will be given preference.
Students who are in their second or third year of studying towards a relevant SAICA degree are invited to gain work experience at LPH. Programmes currently take place in the June/July and September/October vacation periods. We can only accommodate a small group of students at a time. If you would like to apply, please send us
a copy of your CV and academic transcripts.
